How to Use the Mangata Template Kit
Preparation
- Install and activate the Envato Elements plugin from the WordPress plugin repository.
- Download your kit file from Envato, and do not unzip it.
- Ensure the Hello Elementor Theme is installed and activated via Appearance > Themes.
Installation Steps
- Go to Elements > Installed Kits and click the Upload Template Kit button.
- Install any required plugins by following the prompts in the orange banner.
- Import Global Kit Styles first to configure site-wide settings.
- Import templates one by one under Templates > Saved Templates.
Creating Pages
- Navigate to Pages > Add New and create a new page.
- Click Edit with Elementor.
- In the Elementor settings (gear icon in the lower-left corner), select:
- Elementor Full Width for the page layout.
- Hide Page Title.
- Use the My Templates tab (gray folder icon) to import the desired template.
Set Homepage
- Go to Settings > Reading and set your homepage to a Static Page.
Customizing Headers and Footers
With Elementor Pro:
- Navigate to Templates > Theme Builder to customize headers and footers.
Without Elementor Pro:
- Import header and footer templates.
- Use ElementsKit Lite to set them up:
- Go to ElementsKit > Header Footer.
- Add a new header/footer and activate it for the entire site.
- Import the desired template and save changes.
